Please make sure the hair to be waxed is long enough. On average you should have 2-4 weeks of hair growth.

Exfoliate and moisturize the area to be waxed 24 hours prior to your wax.

Please avoid moisturizers and oils on the day of waxing.

Avoid sunbathing or tanning 24 hours prior to waxing.

If you are taking any medications that may affect skin sensitivity, please let me know.

You may take 2 ibuprofen 30 minutes prior to your waxing service. Better safe than sorry!

Avoid swimming, work outs, sunbathing or use of any heat treatments for 24 hours after waxing

Avoid touching or scratching your freshly waxed skin

Avoid any perfumed products such as shower gel, deodorants, soap, and fake tan for at least 24 hours after waxing.

Some people are prone to in-grown hairs. Exfoliate regularly (every 2-3 days); this helps keep them at bay. Pure Waxing Studio stocks professional products to relieve and prevent in-grown hairs.

Avoid picking, this can lead to infection and scarring.

Most importantly DO NOT shave between waxing appointments. This will make the hair more resistant to future waxings.
